Hunter Yurachek published an op-ed in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette headlined “Save college sports,” calling on Congress to impose a national standard on NIL.
He wrote that a model requiring revenue-generating programs to share nearly half their revenue with athletes “would collapse the entire system.”
Arkansas opted into the revenue-sharing pool in July 2025.

Yurachek said the partnership would give the department the edge it needs to bring concerts and events to its venues.

In August 2024, Saracen Casino Resort, an Arkansas company and a Razorback athletics sponsor, said publicly it had a 50/50 raffle ready to launch with the athletic department, with half the proceeds going to Arkansas Edge, the NIL collective.
Saracen said its raffle was ready to launch in August 2024. Arkansas ran its first raffle in May 2025, nine months later.
Arkansas law did not permit the raffle until the General Assembly passed HB 1634 in March 2025. Yurachek testified before the House Rules Committee for the first version of the bill, HB 1044, in February 2025.
Saracen, an Arkansas gaming company already licensed and operating in the state, had offered to partner. The department pursued the legislation without it.
The department instead opted to launch its raffle with BUMP 50/50, a subsidiary of Blast Gaming and Canadian Bank Note. The same operator runs Florida's.
The raffle money does not go to NIL. It goes to the Razorback Foundation and the athletic department at large.
2022
Arkansas replaced Intents, an Arkansas-based tailgating vendor, with RevelXP, an out-of-state hospitality company, as its official gameday hospitality partner.
Intents Party Rentals, of Fayetteville, had coordinated the Victory Village tailgates outside Razorback Stadium. RevelXP was launched in 2020 by a private equity firm in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Financial terms were not disclosed.

On September 19, 2026, before the Georgia game, ESPN's Taylor McGregor asked him on ABC's broadcast about the trustees' review of his own department. His answer, as reported:
“I don't have any [thoughts] because I have yet to talk to the board of trustees or the president about what this statement means.”
The trustees had passed the resolution the afternoon before, unanimously.
Yurachek rarely speaks with media.
On September 23, 2026, he sat for an interview with Brett McMurphy, a national reporter, published by On3 behind a paywall. He had declined the Little Rock Touchdown Club in August.
In that interview, on where he has fallen short:
“Where I think we have fallen short is making the work inside the building more visible so our fans, our community, understands the changes we've made, significant changes, to build a modernized, successful and sustainable program.”
He would not stand in front of Arkansas fans. He would not talk to Arkansas writers. He told a national reporter, behind a paywall, that he has not been transparent enough with the fan base.
